Sign Language helps you to communicate with hearing impaired people. But there is a major problem with that. The most of ordinary people can't understand it. This new gadgets will change that, by automatically translate the hand motions (Sign Language) into audible speech. Then, non signing person can understand them.
University of Houston designed this new device.They named it as "MyVoice", which helps a video camera to capture a person’s hand movements. It also included a small monitor, a speaker and a microphone. Software processes these images & determines what was said. Then translates into speech.After that,which is transmitted through an electronic female voice.
It works backward also.Capturing a spoken words, turned it in to hand sign and show through the monitor.
